Summary

Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase's China LLM team, designing and developing an AI enablement platform for China users, integrating with global LLM endpoints while ensuring compliance and secure routing using Python, ReactJS, Java, and AWS.

Job Overview

We have an opportunity to impact your career and provide an adventure where you can push the limits of what's possible.

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the China LLM team, you will drive the build-out of a next-generation AI enablement platform for our China-based Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) and Corporate staff. You will play a pivotal role in designing and developing lightweight UI and backend services that connect directly to global LLM endpoints, enabling selected global LLM capabilities for China users in a controlled and compliant manner.

You will work closely with product and technical teams to deliver targeted enablement models that address regulatory, entitlement, and cloud constraints. Your contributions will directly impact user experience, productivity, and market competitiveness for our colleagues in China, bridging the gap in AI capability and supporting the integration of global applications with increasing AI adoption.

You will own the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and support. The platform will leverage modern cloud infrastructure and APIs, with a focus on secure routing, policy enforcement, and scalable access controls. You will also evaluate and integrate new features and data connections as permitted, ensuring the solution evolves with business.
