Lead Software Engineer

You'll lead a team of 2-5 engineers while staying hands-on in the code. The systems handle equity ownership and fund data, where every transaction needs a full audit trail. That's why the platform is built on DDD, CQRS, and event sourcing rather than simple CRUD.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and build scalable full-stack features across the. NET backend and React frontend.
• Lead and mentor a team of 2-5 engineers using Agile practices, and own code quality and technical standards.
• Break complex projects into tasks, delegate, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Work with product, design, and business teams as the engineering point of contact.
• Drive technical decisions and bring new ideas to the team.
• Maintain documentation across the SDLC and act as the expert on your applications.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in C# / ASP. NET Core building production backend services.
• Real project experience with event-driven architecture: CQRS, event sourcing, DDD, or message-based systems (NServiceBus, MassTransit, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, SQS, or similar).
• Experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team while still coding actively.

Good to have:

• React + TypeScript.
• AWS (SQS, S3, EKS/Kubernetes).
• MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• EventStore, NServiceBus, or Marten specifically.
• Fintech, capital markets, or B2B SaaS background.
