Lead Software Engineer
Summary
Hands-on engineering lead on a full-time contract (hybrid, 1 day/week onsite in Bangalore or Chennai) owning technical direction and delivery of AI-powered enterprise finance tools: full-stack work with Python, TypeScript/React, FastAPI/Flask/Node, LLM/RAG via OpenAI APIs on AWS, strong SQL and Oracle Fusion integrations, while mentoring engineers.
Role: Engineering Lead, Finance (AI Tools)
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: Long Term (with a possibility of contract to hire)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: Hybrid - 1x day onsite in Bangalore or Chennai
Seeking a senior, hands-on Engineering Lead to own technical direction and delivery of AI-powered applications across the enterprise. The role combines technical leadership, full-stack engineering, GenAI, AWS, data, and enterprise integrations.
Must Have:
- Senior-level engineering leadership / technical direction experience
- Strong Python + JavaScript/TypeScript
- React + FastAPI/Flask/Node.js
- Hands-on LLM, RAG, OpenAI APIs, prompt engineering
- Strong AWS experience
- Strong SQL and large-data experience
- Oracle Fusion experience – MUST
- API/system architecture and production application experience
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
Nice to Have: Vector DBs, LangChain/LlamaIndex, Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, Databricks/Spark, MLOps/LLMOps.
