Salary: upto $180k base + super

Lead Software Engineer | .NET | Azure | TypeScript | SaaS

We're partnering with a growing Australian SaaS business looking to hire a Lead Software Engineer to work closely with the CTO and help shape the future of a large-scale platform.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll influence architecture, mentor engineers, and help drive engineering standards while remaining close to the code.

What you'll be doing

• Leading technical design and architectural decisions across a modern SaaS platform.
• Mentoring and supporting a team of engineers across backend, DevOps and QA.
• Driving engineering best practices, scalability, security and platform reliability.
• Collaborating with Product and Engineering leaders to deliver complex technical initiatives.
• Contributing to recruitment, technical leadership and continuous improvement.

• C# / .NET Core

• Cloud-native architecture and modern engineering practices

We're looking for someone with

• Strong experience building scalable SaaS products using C#/.NET.
• Previous experience as a Lead Engineer, Technical Lead, Principal Engineer or Software Architect.
• Strong architectural and system design experience.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical delivery.
• Melbourne based with Australian working rights - hybrid working from CBD office
