We are looking for a Lead – Web Platform & Digital Experience to architect, build, and scale a high-performance, media-rich, brand-aligned web platform that delivers immersive storytelling while maintaining best-in-class performance metrics.
You will own the complete web platform architecture, performance strategy, and frontend engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Digital Experience Ownership
  • Own the architecture and evolution of the company’s public web platform.
  • Translate brand strategy into immersive, interactive, high-conversion digital experiences.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and UI/UX teams for launches and campaigns.
  • Ensure pixel-perfect implementation of design systems and visual guidelines.

  1. Performance-First Architecture
  • Architect and optimize applications using Next.js / React.
  • Implement SSR / SSG / ISR strategies for performance and SEO.
  • Improve and maintain Core Web Vitals:
    • LCP
    • CLS
    • INP
    • TTFB
  • Optimize heavy media pages (vehicle visuals, videos, 3D renders).
  • Implement intelligent image/video loading strategies and lazy hydration.

  1. Platform & Infrastructure
  • Design scalable frontend architecture for high-traffic launches.
  • Own CDN strategy (CloudFront / Cloudflare / Akamai / Fastly or equivalent).
  • Implement caching layers, edge rendering, and API optimization.
  • Improve time-to-interactive and reduce hydration bottlenecks.
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines and production deployment workflows.

  1. Interactive & Immersive UI
  • Lead development of:
    • Vehicle showcase pages
    • Product comparison modules
    • Lead generation funnels
    • Interactive storytelling sections
  • Implement advanced CSS, animations, and transitions.
  • Collaborate on innovative interactions using modern libraries (GSAP / Framer Motion).

  1. Team Leadership
  • Build and mentor a high-performance web engineering team.
  • Conduct code reviews and establish frontend engineering standards.
  • Promote reusable component architecture and design systems.
  • Drive technical roadmap for web scalability and performance.


Requirements

Required Skills

  • 8 - 12 years in frontend/web engineering.
  • 3+ years leading engineering teams.
  • Strong expertise in:

  • Next.js

  • React

  • Modern JavaScript (ES6+)

  • HTML5 / CSS3 / SCSS

  • Tailwind

  • Deep understanding of:

  • SSR / SSG / ISR

  • Hydration and rendering internals

  • Core Web Vitals optimization

  • SEO best practices

  • CDN architecture

  • Browser performance optimization

  • Experience scaling high-traffic, consumer-facing platforms.
  • Experience integrating headless CMS and marketing tools.
  • Experience with Vercel

Preferred Skills

  • Experience building automotive, D2C, or premium consumer brand websites.
  • Exposure to 3D integrations (WebGL, Three.js).
  • Experience with design systems and Storybook.
  • Knowledge of analytics and conversion tracking (Google Analytics, Tag Manager).
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks.
