Lead Software Engineering, AI Products

Job Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack, reactive web applications for deployment on desktop or cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or GCP.
• Work with UX/UI designers to develop responsive front-end user interfaces using HTML, CSS, React.js or equivalent technologies.
• Work with AI Engineers and Software Engineers to develop server-side applications using Python, Node.js or equivalent frameworks.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve software development productivity, code quality and engineering workflows.
• Apply hands-on experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI to design and implement intelligent application features and workflows.
• Integrate Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic AI capabilities into applications through APIs and appropriate architecture, enabling secure, scalable and maintainable intelligent features and workflows.
• Work with QA engineers to develop test scripts and ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and in production.
• Document and communicate full-stack and AI integration designs to technical stakeholders.
• Apply DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, software design and secure coding best practices.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, tools and trends across full-stack development, Generative AI and Agentic AI.
• Work closely with engagement and product managers to develop prototypes and demos for end users.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Postgraduate / Tertiary qualification in computer science, engineering, information systems or other quantitative / analytical fields.
• More than 6 years of relevant experience in technology development with min. 3 years of experience in delivering large-scale projects with multi-sites deployment and proven track records.
• Hands-on experience with front end languages such as HTML5, CSS and JavaScript and frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Hands-on experience with back-end technologies / framework such as Python, Node, Express and SQL/NoSQL Database.
• Hands-on experience with test automation and CI/CD workflow.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Experience with software development practices using Agile SCRUM or Kanban methodology.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and effective manner.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, team player, creative with excellent communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Having domain knowledge in Homeland Security sector will be an added advantage.
