About the Role\:

The Lead Specialist – Data Analytics & Reporting is the Bank’s technical expert for enterprise reporting, data engineering and analytics, providing hands-on leadership in the development, optimisation and support of reporting and Business Intelligence solutions.

The role combines technical delivery with leadership, supporting the modernisation of legacy reporting platforms, Enterprise Data initiatives, regulatory reporting and automation. Working closely with business and Technology teams, the role ensures the Bank’s reporting and data environment remains reliable, scalable, secure and fit for business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and optimise enterprise reporting, analytics and Business Intelligence solutions.
• Develop dashboards, Management Information (MI), operational reports and executive reporting solutions using SAP BusinessObjects or equivalent BI platforms.
• Translate business, MIS and regulatory reporting requirements (including XBRL, RBS, FATCA, CRS, SFX and other statutory reporting obligations) into scalable, reliable and automated technical solutions.
• Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, timely and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Design, develop, maintain and optimise Enterprise Data solutions, including ETL processes, data models and reporting data marts.
• Develop and optimise data integration workflows supporting enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Support large-scale data transformation initiatives and modernisation of reporting platforms.
• Design, develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers, views and SQL scripts.
• Develop automation solutions using Python, VB.NET, C#, Java or similar technologies.
• Develop custom applications, utilities, interfaces and scripts to automate data extraction, reconciliation, validation, reporting and business processes.
• Integrate databases, reporting platforms, Microsoft Office applications and enterprise systems to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyse, reverse engineer and document legacy reporting applications and reporting logic.
• Design sustainable reporting architectures and recommend platform modernisation strategies.
• Lead technical implementation of reporting platform upgrades and Enterprise Data Warehouse initiatives.
• Support strategic technology programmes requiring advanced reporting and data engineering expertise.
