The company is a well-established Australian-owned and operated firm that possesses a large inventory of small to medium-sized lifting equipment and machines for the construction and mining industries. Being that they are committed to offering great services; and while providing tailored solutions for their dependable equipment, they have seen an increased demand for their services. Due to recent growth, they are now seeking and experienced Lead Technician to service their fleet.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Onsite and Workshop-based servicing of fleet
  
• Installation and removal of components
  
• Conducting technical inspections and job estimations
  
• Undertaking maintenance, diagnostic and repair-based activities
  
• Sourcing technical information from available reference manuals, OE and computer-based systems
  
• Liaising with customers to ensure timely maintenance and repair

Due to this position placing a priority on customer service, your ability to communicate effectively with both staff and clients in a pleasant manner is essential.

The successful applicant will need to be:

• Able to demonstrate mechanical or machinery maintenance experience
  
• A team player with excellent communication skills
  
• Able to work under pressure and be effective in time management
  
• Proficient in technical problem-solving skills
  
• Capable of working autonomously
  
• Well organised, efficient, and have a history of achieving results in a challenging environment
  
• Experience with EWP’s (Elevated Work Platforms)
  
• Test and Tag experience and certification will be an advantage
