LEAD TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (PASSENGER)- DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Passenger Travel Agent responsible for implementing traffic management plans, programs policies, procedures, management systems, and techniques incident to the worldwide movement of personnel.

Ensure that the organizations strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the teams as strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and work products and services. Oversees performance of Commercial Travel Office (CTO), while serving as a Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) to provide reservations and ticketing services for commercial air, water, bus and rail carriers. Represents the passenger travel element with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Recognized authority to the base population for all travel questions and the interpretation of the Joint Travel Regulations (JTS) and other applicable travel regulations.
