Lead Unreal Programmer
What your weeks are going to look like
- Daily Scrum meetings;
- Build a trusted relationship with the partner by acting as the main point of contact within your area of expertise;
- Contribute to the various stages of design and development of a video game on a mobile platform within a multidisciplinary production team;
- Maintain smooth communication with other departments (design, art, production) to ensure optimal integration of all project components;
- Provide your expertise to determine the most appropriate technical approaches to achieve the desired project outcomes;
- Ensure code quality and adherence to development best practices (code reviews, testing, optimization);
- Mobilize, mentor, and support your direct team through ongoing coaching and continuous feedback;
- Collaborate with the Technical Director (Core Team) to ensure alignment with company standards.
In short, a leadership role where you remain hands-on technically, with evolving responsibilities, a stimulating mobile project, and FUN on a daily basis!
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another related field combined with equivalent experience;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in development;
- Experience as a Lead Programmer or in a similar role;
- Strong command of the Unreal game engine;
- Excellent knowledge of C++ and strong optimization skills;
- Ability to travel abroad when required;
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English. English proficiency is required, as we collaborate with English-speaking partners.
