In addition to knowledge management responsibilities, you will draft thought-leadership and other content, contribute to business and government advisory projects, support business development and marketing initiatives, and represent the team at selected conferences, meetings and other external engagements. The role will also include people-management support and administrative responsibilities associated with the effective operation of the team.

What your day will look like

  • Conduct regular quality-control reviews of content, products and processes to maintain accuracy, consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct strategic analysis of regulatory frameworks across the MENA region, including preparing international benchmarking studies, current-state assessments, topic-specific reports, policy papers and white papers.
  • Contribute to business advisory projects, including compliance reviews and audits, policy drafting and review, multijurisdictional assessments, workforce mobility projects and client training.
  • Contribute to government advisory projects, including legislative and policy analysis, international benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, procedural assessments and the preparation of recommendations and supporting reports.
  • Work with digital tools and proprietary systems to update, review, manage and store information efficiently in support of Fragomen and its clients.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of client and internal presentations, training programmes and knowledge-sharing sessions, both virtually and in person.
  • Draft thought-leadership materials, client communications, articles, blogs, presentations and other content, as required.
  • Support business development activities, including identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals and responding to requests for information or tender submissions.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and represent the team at selected conferences, client meetings, government meetings and other external engagements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams across different workstreams, ensuring that dependencies, responsibilities and deadlines are clearly understood and managed.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, document agreed actions, and contribute to the development and maintenance of project plans and implementation roadmaps.
  • Support the successful delivery of projects by coordinating activities, monitoring progress, identifying potential issues and helping ensure that agreed deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Support the management and development of team members, including work allocation, quality oversight, coaching, knowledge sharing and performance feedback, as required.
  • Maintain accurate time records and up-to-date project, matter and activity tracking.
  • Undertake administrative responsibilities required for the effective operation of the team.
  • Carry out other responsibilities consistent with the role and the evolving needs of the MENA Learning & Advisory team.

The team

The MENA Learning & Advisory Hub is a specialized, regionally based team operating as part of the broader Fragomen Knowledge Group. The team works closely with Fragomen’s practices and Subject Matter Experts across the MENA region, as well as with colleagues from the Knowledge Group, on shared initiatives, content development and cross-regional projects. At the same time, it has the flexibility to respond directly to regional priorities and provide tailored support to internal teams, clients and government stakeholders.

The team’s work is organized around three principal areas:

  • Knowledge Management and Awareness: Monitoring regulatory and procedural developments, preparing client notifications and thought-leadership content, and maintaining knowledge resources, data tools and other products that help Fragomen and its clients remain informed and compliant.
  • Business Advisory: Providing tailored advice on immigration compliance and mobility strategy, including immigration audits and health checks, policy drafting and review, customized training, multijurisdictional analysis, corporate restructuring support and crisis-related guidance.
  • Government Advisory: Supporting public-sector stakeholders through legislative and policy analysis, international benchmarking, current-state and procedural assessments, stakeholder engagement, policy development and strategic advice on immigration, labour mobility and workforce nationalization.

The team combines regional knowledge, practical experience and strategic analysis to translate complex regulatory developments into clear, actionable information and advice.

  • Demonstrated ability to research and analyze legislation, policy and government procedures and translate findings into practical, actionable intelligence.
  • Experience drafting professional reports, client communications, presentations or thought-leadership content.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to drafting, editing and quality control.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to urgent requests.
