Learning and Development Manager (L&D) - Semicon/ Manufacturing
The Company
Our client is a leading global semiconductor manufacturer with a strong presence in Singapore. As they continue to scale, they're investing in their people and building out a learning function that will shape capability across the organisation. This is a newly created opportunity to own that agenda.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Senior Director, you'll take end-to-end ownership of the L&D agendafrom diagnosing capability needs to designing, delivering and measuring programmes that build a genuine culture of growth. It's a hands-on, high-visibility seat with real scope to shape how the organisation learns.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying individual and organisational development needs aligned to business priorities
- Designing, developing and delivering training using adult learning methodologies, drawing on industry best practice
- Planning and facilitating training programmes, including new-hire onboarding
- Driving employee engagement through well-structured communication and learning initiatives
- Building new forms of digital learning to improve efficiency and adoption
- Managing learning platforms ( SAP SuccessFactors) and continuously improving L&D processes
- Developing training metrics, dashboards and reporting to measure effectiveness and inform improvements
- Partnering with government agencies and training institutes to secure grants and funding support
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Organisational Development / Psychology, or Engineering
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in instructional design or eLearning development and delivery within a mid-to-large organisation
- Experience managing a learning management system, ideally SAP SuccessFactors Learning
- ACTA certification, with prior manufacturing or semiconductor experience a strong advantage
- Resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and across teams
- Strong analytical, planning and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
