What you’ll be doing…

As an Enterprise Leadership Development Manager, you will serve as a cross-portfolio leadership solutions partner within the Enterprise Leadership Development team, helping team members deliver programs and priorities in a coordinated, organized, and scalable way. You will act as connective tissue across the portfolio, ensuring shared work stays aligned, risks and opportunities are surfaced early, and support is delivered responsively across multiple initiatives. By translating team priorities into strong execution, you will identify operational gaps and implement solutions that strengthen how the entire portfolio runs.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating shared work across leadership-development initiatives, helping ensure priorities stay connected, organized, and moving forward across the portfolio. Supporting decisions and day-to-day execution within established priorities, helping align ongoing work with broader team goals and portfolio needs.
  • Translating team priorities into actionable processes, standardizing workflows across initiatives, and helping improve how work is delivered through stronger coordination, follow-through, and visibility.
  • Tracking project health, vendor engagements, and team capacity to ensure resources are deployed effectively across the portfolio.
  • Contributing to portfolio communications, engagement activities, reporting, and updates that help leaders and stakeholders stay aligned on progress, needs, and opportunities.
  • Surfacing operational risks, identify gaps or friction points across initiatives, and recommend practical improvements that make support more responsive and scalable.

In this remote role, you'll work from home with occasional in-person trainings and meetings.

What we’re looking for…

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Experience supporting leadership development and/or program management.
  • Current HR and/or Learning & Development experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Experience with project coordination.
  • Experience supporting enterprise leadership-development programs or portfolios with multiple interconnected initiatives.
  • Experience contributing to communications, reporting, engagement planning, or stakeholder updates.
  • Comfort working across initiatives such as digital learning experiences, leadership programs, or emerging talent efforts.
  • Experience improving team processes, coordination models, or portfolio operations.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, digital platforms, or modern learning experiences as part of a broader leadership-development ecosystem.
  • Experience creating project trackers, dashboards, and visual reports.
  • Strong judgment and the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills and the ability to connect work across different stakeholders, programs, and workstreams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify operational gaps, bring structure to moving work, and support execution in a fast-paced environment.

If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
