Suntec Concrete Learning & Development Manager
Strategic Leadership
• Own the enterprise learning strategy and multi-year roadmap for Suntec U, aligning it to business goals, workforce needs, and the Leadership Excellence Formula.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on talent and capability development, shaping how Suntec grows its people from the field up.
• Translate business priorities into learning investments, and measure Suntec U's impact on performance, retention, and internal advancement.
Curriculum Strategy and Design
• Partner with department leaders and stakeholders to assess learning needs, shape content and curriculum, and align training initiatives to the organization's goals.
• Develop and execute the Suntec U curriculum, integrating the core elements of workforce development to support career advancement and skill growth.
Learning Delivery and Content
• Deliver a blended learning model that combines instructor-led training, virtual sessions, and self-paced e-learning to improve access for a distributed workforce.
• Oversee the development of training materials, keeping content accurate, current, and effective for a field-based workforce.
Learning Technology and E-Learning
• Own the e-learning function, including the development, production, and deployment of e-learning courses and digital content, with consistent quality across all online learning.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), maintaining an organized library of training materials and clear records of participant progress.
Program Effectiveness and Measurement
• Establish metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and adjust based on participant feedback and performance data.
• Stay current on industry developments and education trends and keep Suntec U aligned to how the field actually works.
• Build and maintain partnerships with external educational institutions and organizations to broaden learning opportunities.
Direct Reports
• Suntec U Facilitator: delivers instructor-led and virtual training across the enterprise, and keeps program content current and consistent in the field.
• E-Learning Creator & LMS Administrator: develops e-learning content and administers the LMS, maintaining course quality, access, and completion records.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in learning and development, organizational development, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement large-scale training programs.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization, from field crews to senior executives.
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Experience with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS platform (UKG or similar).
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, or related experience.
• Experience in the construction industry (preferred).
