Role Purpose:

The Manager, Learning & Development serves as a trusted partner and advisor to Takeda Canada’s commercial teams and the broader organization. The role is responsible for initiating, developing, deploying, and tracking innovative learning and development programs aligned with the organization’s strategies and goals, with a particular focus on building the capabilities of our sales and marketing teams. As part of Commercial & Marketing Operations (C&MO), the role works closely with the International Marketing & Commercial Excellence (MCE) Commercial Capabilities team, bringing global academies, frameworks, and best practices to life in a way that is relevant for Canada, and developing local solutions where they add the most value.

The role contributes to building a workplace focused on innovation, future readiness, and best-in-class customer experiences, while striving for and fostering a culture of continuous growth and learning.

  • Learning partnership and impact: listening to teams and leaders to understand their needs, connecting MCE capability programs to Canadian priorities, and tracking the impact of learning so programs keep improving.

The scope of the role will continue to evolve alongside C&MO and the MCE operating model, including supporting broader Canada capability needs and other areas as needed by the business.
