Learning & Organisational Development Coordinator
Overview
The Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator will focus on fostering learning and development within the organisation, helping us to build a learning culture. By effectively coordinating the planning, scheduling, and delivery of training programs and workshops, and reporting on various aspects of learning, this role supports the continuous growth and enhancement of leadership and learning capabilities. Additionally, this position is crucial in maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and ensuring the seamless integration of training into everyday operations.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Operational Management
Learning and Development Coordination (80%)-APAC EMEA
- Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and delivery of training programs and workshops across APAC and EMEA
- Choose the correct setting for online training and ensure sessions are technically smooth
- Manage the enrolment and tracking of participants in training sessions
- Distribute training materials and pre- and post-session resources
- Report on employee participation and program effectiveness using tools like Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Maintain training calendars and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders
- Book venues, equipment and catering for in-person sessions, or coordinate with others to do so, including building relationships with stakeholders in all AU & UK office locations
- Respond to HR Helpdesk tickets, troubleshoot LMS issues and provide technical support
- Act as the point of contact for training-related queries
- Track spending for all external vendors and ensure they are onboarded correctly
Organisational Development Coordination (20%):
- Assist with the planning and execution of DEI initiatives, including events
- Generate reports for strategic initiatives
Strategic Focus
- Ensure continuous improvement, through analysing current practices, identifying areas for enhancement, and suggesting innovations and efficiencies
People Leadership
- Collaborate with OD, L&D and HR colleagues to achieve strategic people initiatives
- Promote a learning culture within MPMS
Governance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
- Support MPMS assurance programs that deliver effective risk management and compliance practices

Experience & Personal Attributes
- Tertiary education or certification in Learning and Development or Human Resources; or equivalent experience
- Experience in a learning and development role (preferred but not required)
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- An interest in facilitating training
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with HRIS/LMS platforms (preferred but not required)
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is a plus
