Leasing Manager

Leasing Manager — RISE Doro
Compensation: $65,000–$68,000 annually
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite
The Opportunity
A successful leasing team does more than give tours and process applications. It creates momentum, follows up with purpose, understands what drives a prospect’s decision, and makes every person who walks through the door feel like they could belong there.
RISE Doro is looking for a Leasing Manager who can lead that effort.
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day leasing operation, coach and develop the leasing team, monitor traffic and conversion activity, and ensure every prospect receives a responsive and consistent experience. You will work closely with the General Manager to maintain occupancy, strengthen resident retention, and position RISE Doro as a community people are excited to call home.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will set expectations and hold the team accountable, but you will also be on the front line—answering inquiries, conducting tours, following up with prospects, and helping close leases.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead the daily leasing operation and ensure the team remains focused on traffic, follow-up, applications, and move-ins
  • Coach, train, and motivate leasing team members to improve performance and provide a consistent customer experience
  • Conduct property tours, respond to prospect inquiries, and assist with closing leases
  • Monitor leasing activity, conversion ratios, occupancy, renewals, and other performance metrics
  • Review prospect follow-up and ensure leads are contacted accurately, professionally, and on time
  • Help develop and execute leasing, outreach, and resident-retention strategies
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the local market, competing communities, pricing, concessions, and availability
  • Ensure apartment availability, pricing, specials, and marketing information remain accurate across all platforms
  • Review applications and leasing documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to support apartment readiness and smooth move-ins
  • Build relationships with current residents and help resolve concerns before they become larger issues
  • Support resident events, community outreach, and other activities that strengthen engagement
  • Ensure the leasing team follows company policies, Fair Housing requirements, and all applicable laws
  • Step in wherever needed to support the General Manager and the overall success of the community
What Success Looks Like
You will be successful in this role when:
  • Prospects receive timely, professional, and persistent follow-up
  • The leasing team understands its goals and is held accountable for achieving them
  • Tours consistently communicate what makes RISE Doro different
  • Leasing activity is accurately tracked, reviewed, and used to guide decisions
  • Applications, lease files, and move-in documentation are complete and accurate
  • The community maintains strong occupancy and renewal performance
  • Residents and prospects experience a team that is responsive, organized, and genuinely engaged
  • You identify problems early and take ownership of solving them
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous apartment leasing or multifamily property-management experience
  • Prior experience leading, coaching, or training a leasing team strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to generate traffic, follow up with prospects, and close leases
  • Strong sales, customer-service, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to review leasing performance and turn the numbers into practical action
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence holding team members accountable while remaining supportive and professional
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced onsite environment
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing requirements
  • Experience with property-management and customer-relationship-management software preferred
  • Availability to work a schedule that may include weekends based on community needs
This Role May Be a Fit If
  • You are competitive, but you understand that strong results come from a strong team
  • You do not wait for prospects to call back—you follow through
  • You can coach someone through a missed opportunity instead of simply pointing out the mistake
  • You notice when traffic, conversion, or follow-up starts slipping and act before occupancy suffers
  • You are comfortable balancing sales, administration, resident service, and team leadership
  • You take ownership of the leasing process from the first inquiry through move-in
  • You understand that every tour, phone call, email, and resident interaction shapes the reputation of the community
