Leasing Officer

Responsibilities

• Market and promote retail spaces to attract prospective tenants and maximize occupancy
• Identify and engage potential tenants, negotiating lease agreements to secure favorable terms
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and leasing agents to support tenant retention and satisfaction
• Manage lease renewals, terminations, and resolve lease-related issues efficiently to maintain portfolio stability
• Conduct market research to analyze retail leasing trends and identify new business opportunities
• Prepare detailed leasing reports and presentations for property owners and senior management to inform decision-making
• Collaborate with property owners, developers, and leasing agents to develop and implement effective leasing strategies
• Participate in property inspections and tenant meetings to ensure property standards and tenant needs are met

Required competencies and certifications

• CEA qualified or exempt (as stated: "CEA qualified or exempt")

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in retail leasing or other asset classes in the Singapore market
• Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively to build and maintain tenant and agent relationships
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage projects and priorities efficiently
