[What the role is]

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Business Psychology in the School of Business & Accountancy.

[What you will be working on]

As a Lecturer, you will:

  • Develop and deliver curriculum (including online courses) and assessments for full-time and part-time courses for students and adult learners.

  • Supervise student projects and internships with industry partners.

  • Counsel and mentor students to support their learning and personal development, provide education and career guidance, and coach them for competitions.

  • Undertake academic-related administration and committee work, support outreach activities and study trips, and ad-hoc projects that support the school’s mission.

  • Plan, lead, manage and develop industry projects.

[What we are looking for]

  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience; teaching or training experience is a plus.

  • Relevant industry certifications in behavioural science, cognitive science, psychometrics or related areas will be an added advantage.

  • Training and Adult Educator Professional Pathway (TAEPP) registered.

  • Confident in teaching behavioural science and applied behavioural insights (BI) in areas such as workplace experience, digital consumer behaviour, strategic communications, and related topics for both PET and CET programmes.

  • Proficient in behavioural research, behavioural diagnosis, intervention design, and experiment design; knowledge of psychology, psychometrics, data modelling and analysis, human-centred design, UI/UX design, communications, or organisational development is an added advantage.

  • A passionate educator with a nurturing mindset and strong rapport with students.

  • A team player with strong presentation and communication skills.

  • Creative in using digital tools and tech-enabled strategies to enhance student engagement.

  • A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple projects independently.

  • Having access to industry partners/networks will be an advantage as you may be required to spearhead new development initiatives and industry collaborations.
