Lecturer cum Academic Manager
LSBF Singapore Campus is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Lecturer cum Academic Manager to lead our School of English.

As the School of English serves as an important entry pathway for international students progressing into LSBF programmes, we are looking for someone who can combine educational excellence with innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the School of English.
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
- Review and enhance curriculum, teaching materials and learning resources.
- Monitor student progression, retention and academic outcomes.
- Support and mentor adjunct lecturers and teaching staff.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
Teaching Responsibilities
- Deliver English language lessons across assigned levels and modules.
- Design engaging and student-centred learning experiences.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and reports.
- Provide academic guidance and pastoral support to students.
Programme Development and Growth
- Drive initiatives to increase student enrolment and programme attractiveness.
- Develop new English language offerings, short courses and specialised programmes.
- Explore opportunities for corporate English training and customised programmes.
- Lead the development and delivery of Summer School and Study Tour programmes.
- Strengthen progression pathways into LSBF diploma and degree programmes.
IELTS and Testing Services
- Expand IELTS preparation offerings.
- Support the growth and utilisation of LSBF's testing capabilities.
- Develop partnerships and outreach activities to promote testing and preparatory programmes.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with Admissions, Marketing and Academic teams.
- Develop relationships with education agents and external partners.
- Represent the School of English at academic and recruitment events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in English, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education or related discipline.
- CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of English language teaching experience.
- Experience in programme management, academic leadership or curriculum development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive improvements.
- Strong understanding of international student needs.
- Experience in IELTS preparation, pathway programmes or private education institutions will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
