Lecturer (Practice) /Senior Lecturer (Practice) in Emergency Medicine

A Level B / C academic is expected to make significant contributions to the teaching effort of a discipline, school, faculty or other organisational unit or an interdisciplinary area. An academic at this level is also expected to play a major role in scholarship, research and/or professional activities. The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Practice) in Emergency Medicine provides leadership in clinical teaching and supervision, delivering high-quality undergraduate medicine education. The role involves coordinating and contributing to curriculum development, assessment, and quality improvement initiatives, and promoting excellence in evidence-based emergency care. The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Practice) also maintains an active clinical role, supports clinical governance and patient safety activities, and contributes to scholarly and professional activities aligned with the discipline of Emergency Medicine.
