San Diego, CA Office - In office position

FBFK Law is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant/Legal Assistant to join our San Diego office and support the Managing Partner and another attorney in our Trust & Estate Planning practice.

This is a full-time, on-site position for a polished, proactive professional with 3+ years of experience providing high-level executive administrative support, ideally including experience as a legal assistant in a law firm or professional services environment. Strong judgment and demonstrated success supporting an executive or senior leader in a client-facing environment are essential. The role supports sophisticated, high-net-worth clients and requires someone who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion. Prior experience with trust and estate planning is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level executive support to the Managing Partner, including calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reports, and other administrative needs
  • Provide legal administrative support to the attorneys and paralegal in the Trust & Estate Planning practice
  • Prepare, proofread, revise, and finalize correspondence, estate planning documents, and related materials
  • Coordinate client meetings, document signings, calendars, and follow-up items
  • Communicate professionally with clients, including high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Draft emails and other correspondence for attorney review
  • Assist with billing follow-up internally and with clients
  • Maintain matter files, client records, and related firm systems
  • Answer and route office phones as needed
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
