Legal Associate (General Commercial)
Summary
Legal Associate role in Hong Kong supporting Lalamove's commercial operations. You'll draft and review contracts, provide legal advice on compliance and litigation matters, conduct legal research, and support business units with day-to-day legal issues. Requires 1-3 years PQE, HK or UK qualification, and bilingual English/Chinese skills.

Currently, we are looking for a high-caliber individual (HK/UK qualified lawyer) to join our Legal team as a Legal Associate (General Commercial) based in Hong Kong.
What you’ll do:
- Handle a range of legal work, including drafting, reviewing legal documents and supporting the contract negotiation process for different departments;
- Conducting legal research and analysis on legal/compliance developments that may impact the group’s operations and recommending appropriate courses of action;
- Advise the company on a wide range of litigation and commercial legal issues, support business units with legal advice;
- Developing and implementing legal T&Cs, policies and guidelines to protect the group’s interests and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations;
- Providing legal training to business stakeholders on key legal issues and best practices;
- Assisting other senior lawyers with different tasks assigned from time to time and effective administration of the Legal Team.
What you’ll need:
- 1-3 years’ post-qualification experience gained from reputable law firms or MNCs.
- Qualified in Hong Kong or United Kingdom can be considered
- Experience in general commercial, and commercial transactions.
- Experience in dealing with regulatory practice relating to international businesses
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong sense of responsibility and responsiveness.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Energetic with excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
- Able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness.
