Legal Business Operations - Sr Specialist - Estate Accounts
This is a hybrid role (4 days in office /1 day remote)
What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:
Interactive Brokers is seeking an experienced Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in deceased estate administration to join our team. This critical role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in managing the complex processes associated with deceased client accounts, estate settlements, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Serve as the primary expert resource for deceased estate matters across the organization.
Review and validate estate documentation including death certificates, letters of testamentary, probate documents, and executor authorizations.
Coordinate the transfer or liquidation of securities, options, futures, and other financial instruments held in deceased accounts.
Ensure proper handling of outstanding trades, margin positions, and corporate actions for deceased accounts.
Liaise with legal counsel and compliance teams on complex or high-value estate matters.
Preferred Qualifications
Law degree, paralegal certification, other relevant qualification or significant demonstratable relevant experience.
Experience with international estates and cross-border asset transfers.
Knowledge of estate planning strategies and trust structures.
Experience working in a global financial institution.

This role's anticipated base salary range is $70,000 to $90,000 annually, based on skills and experience. The offered salary is just part of the total compensation package.
