Handle and coordinate litigation matters across forums, including liaising with external counsel, tracking case status, and ensuring timely filings and compliance.
Assist in arbitration proceedings — case strategy support, documentation, and coordination with arbitrators/counsel.
IPR
Manage trademark, copyright, and other IPR-related matters, including filings, renewals, and enforcement support.
Contracts & Agreements
Draft, vet, and review a wide range of commercial agreements/contracts, ensuring legal and commercial risk is appropriately flagged and mitigated.
Legal MIS & Reporting
Own and maintain the group-level Legal MIS, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of data across entities.
Coordinate with regional legal teams to collate data and prepare periodic reports for management.
Responsible for managing and completeness of records.
Legal Technology
Manage and ensure regular updation of Provakil (or equivalent legal case-management system), including data accuracy and compliance tracking.
Advisory
Provide day-to-day legal advisory support to internal stakeholders/business teams on operational and compliance matters.
Support any other legal/administrative tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.
To play a business partnering role and collaborate with multi-functional teams (including Commercial, Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance, Procurements, Mining & Projects etc.) to understand the business strategy and support the functions to achieve their objective.
Providing legal operational excellence and strategic guidance/support regarding legal risks and implications, etc. By providing appropriate legal advice by timely interpreting legal information.
