Summary

Corporate legal executive prepares and files regulatory documents, manages contracts, and ensures compliance with Singapore and regional laws for a regional internet company.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, manage, and maintain corporate secretarial documents including AGM/EGM materials, board resolutions, statutory registers, and regulatory filings with ACRA and IRAS and equivalent entities in other jurisdictions.

  • Liaise with external corporate secretarial service providers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia, and headquarters in Hong Kong.

  • Prepare and review commercial contracts, including customer agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and service-level agreements.

  • Provide a legal support to different departments and business units across the organisation, with a strong focus on corporate secretarial matters.

  • Handle regulatory and licensing matters, including license applications, renewals, variations, and ongoing compliance with applicable regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions, and coordinate regulatory submissions, filings and responses.

  • Support management on legal, compliance, and administrative matters, including coordination with internal departments, regional offices, and external parties where required.

  • Provide general legal support and assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned from time to time

    Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field.

    1 – 2 years’ experience in a compliance officer role.

    Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.

    Brilliant oral and written communication skills.

    Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail
