Responsibilities:
- Contract Lifecycle Oversight: Manage the full contract lifecycle—from initiation to close-out—ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and obligations are tracked and met in compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Review & Negotiation: Lead the review, negotiation, and finalization of main contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and internal governance.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Partner with project and procurement teams to identify and mitigate legal, commercial, and operational risks, while monitoring contract performance and addressing any deviations or claims.
- Commercial & Strategic Advisory: Provide expert legal and commercial advice to the Finance Director and project teams on pricing, contract terms, and negotiation strategies to enhance profitability and legal soundness.
- Tender & Bid Support: Review tender documents for legal accuracy and completeness, identify potential risks and opportunities, and advise on the preparation of critical project submissions such as Extension of Time (EOT) and progress claims.
- Dispute Resolution & Negotiation: Act as a key legal advisor in resolving commercial disputes, supporting negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve timely and favorable outcomes.
- Recovery & Supplier Management: Assist project teams in expediting supplier performance to meet deadlines, and provide legal guidance on developing and implementing recovery plans when project delays or risks arise.
