Legal Counsel

4G Clinical is looking for a versatile Legal Counsel to join our team. In this role, you will act as a true generalist, managing our commercial contracts, safeguarding our intellectual property and advising on employment matters. You will report directly to the General Counsel who is based in Amsterdam.

What you will do:

• Commercial Contracts: drafting, reviewing and negotiating a diverse range of (international) commercial agreements and vendor contracts.
• Employment Matters: advising HR and management on day-to-day employment law, HR-related issues, policies and international labor relations.
• IP Portfolio Management: managing, protecting and optimizing our intellectual property portfolio to secure our market innovations.
• Outside Counsel: maintaining (cost)effective relations with outside counsel.

What you may also do:

• Privacy & Data Protection: ensuring ongoing compliance with global data privacy regulations.
• Corporate Housekeeping: maintaining our corporate legal administration, ensuring high standards of corporate governance and monitoring relevant regulatory shifts in our industry.

• 4 - 7 years’ experience either in-house or at a law firm
• Specific expertise or a proven track record in commercial contracts and either employment law or intellectual property.
• Eagerness to learn with hands-on, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
• We are seeking a proactive generalist who is comfortable working with high levels of autonomy, yet values strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to come into the office in Amsterdam two times a week (however all applications will be considered)
• We are an international company. Ability and willingness to travel when necessary.

Education and/or Certification Requirements

The candidate must possess a bachelor and master (or similar) in law from an accredited college or university
