Berlin Packaging, the world's largest Hybrid Packaging Supplier® of glass, plastic and metal containers and closures with 100+ years in the packaging industry, is looking for a talented Legal Counsel to join its EMEA Legal Team, reporting directly to the EMEA Legal Director.

Key responsibilities:

  • Draft, negotiate and review a variety of national and international commercial contracts, legal documents and business arrangements, including distribution and sales agreements, terms and conditions of sales and supply, supply agreements, confidentiality agreements, lease agreements, IT agreements
  • Take care of corporate governance and corporate secretarial matters
  • Manage data protection and privacy and other compliance matters (231, whistleblowing, anti-money laundering, KYC)
  • Provide practical and timely legal support and business advice to all internal stakeholders (e.g. marketing, finance, sales, supply chain, IT, logistics, and HR)
  • Support and assist the EMEA legal director in handling global initiatives and complex matters as needed


The profile:

  • Italian law degree. Bar admission is considered a plus
  • 5+ of professional experience gained at international law firm and/or in-house department; a combination of both is strongly preferred
  • Full professional proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French is considered a plus
  • Proven ability to draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents in a pragmatic way; must have the ability to provide rapid, practical, business-oriented advice directly to all business units;
  • Excellent team player with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and a positive and proactive attitude
  • Must be self-reliant, hard-working, flexible, and organized


What we offer:

  • Employment Type: Permanent Contract, full-time
  • National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL): Commercio & Terziario
  • Salary range: Eur 40,000 – 55,000 gross per year + bonus + benefits
  • Hybrid working 2 days per week
