Legal Counsel
You will manage multiple legal and administrative processes for an early-stage startup from start to finish. You should be prepared for a chaotic, unpredictable, non-linear environment with unconventional tasks and problems, and be a self-starter able to work in a dynamic environment spanning crypto and AI. This is a remote, fixed-contract position with no office provided; the company is located off-shore. Please note no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is offered.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, analyse and negotiate various contracts
- Understand how various jurisdictions work, their risks and benefits
- Weigh legal vs commercial considerations
- Negotiate with counterparties and verify their documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years of demonstrated legal experience in tech business development (tech sales, presales marketing, fundraising) or operations supporting these activities
- Thorough understanding of English law and ability to use it for global contracts between various jurisdictions
- Strong passion about new technologies, particularly crypto and AI
- Strong communication skills
- Perfect English
- Experience working with a team in a non-corporate environment
