Join Racks Central and Shape the Legal Foundation of the Region's Digital Infrastructure

Racks Central is a Singapore-based digital infrastructure company building and operating next-generation data center facilities across the region. As we continue to scale our data center portfolio and expand across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, we are looking for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our growing legal function.

This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional who wants to work beyond traditional legal advisory and be directly involved in data center development, major commercial transactions, project financing, investments, joint ventures and regional expansion.

What You Will Do

• Lead, draft, review and negotiate major commercial agreements, including EPC, construction, supply, O&M, procurement and customer colocation contracts.
• Support AI-capacity offtake and customer agreements as the business expands its AI-ready data center capabilities.
• Advise on project financing, debt and equity transactions, shareholder agreements, JVs and investment arrangements.
• Support the Legal Director on deal structuring, negotiations, due diligence and strategic transactions.
• Manage legal matters relating to data center development and construction projects.
• Support cross-border transactions, including JVs, M&A, investments and strategic partnerships.
• Manage and coordinate external legal counsel across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, including legal spend and performance.
• Advise management on contractual risk, regulatory compliance and legal risk mitigation.
• Support data protection, privacy and cybersecurity compliance matters.
• Provide corporate governance and company secretarial support across the Racks Central Group.
• Coordinate Board and shareholder matters, corporate resolutions and statutory filings.
• Develop legal and compliance processes, SOPs and governance frameworks to support the Company's regional growth.

What We Are Looking For

• Degree in Law and admission to practice in Singapore, Malaysia or another relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant legal experience gained from a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal environment.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts, construction, infrastructure, project development, financing or corporate transactions.
• Experience in data center, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, energy, construction or real estate will be highly advantageous.
• Experience handling cross-border transactions and managing external legal counsel.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Commercially astute, pragmatic and able to provide business-focused legal solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work confidently with senior management, investors, lenders, customers and strategic partners.
• High integrity, sound judgement and attention to detail.
