Legal Counsel

We are looking for Part-Time Legal Executive

Job Description: Your duties shall include:

➢ Corporate Governance and Compliance
• Advise on and ensure compliance with local and international laws, including consumer protection, data privacy (e.g., GDPR), and e-commerce regulations.
• Maintain corporate governance standards for entities within the group structure.
• Monitor and implement changes in applicable legislation and regulatory requirements.

➢ Contract Drafting and Negotiation
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier contracts, client agreements, partnership agreements, and technology-related contracts.
• Ensure contractual terms align with the company’s interests and risk tolerance.

➢ Risk Management
• Identify and mitigate legal and operational risks associated with global operations.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to address potential liabilities and challenges.

➢ Intellectual Property and Technology
• Manage intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and licensing
agreements.
• Support the protection of proprietary technology and ensure compliance with software licensing.

➢ Dispute Resolution and Litigation
• Oversee and manage disputes, litigation, and claims in coordination with external counsel when necessary.
• Resolve issues efficiently while minimizing financial and reputational risks.

➢ Business Support and Advisory
• Provide legal guidance on business strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and market entry into new regions.
• Support the product development team with regulatory and compliance advice to ensure alignment with global standards.

➢ Team Collaboration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and marketing, to provide holistic legal support.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and the board of directors.
