Legal Executive
Summary
Reviews and drafts client/vendor contracts, maintains legal templates, and supports compliance for a Southeast Asia PR consultancy, requiring bilingual English/Vietnamese skills.
About the role
Conduct first-pass legal review of client and vendor contracts against the group's standard contracting positions and template framework; resolve routine points independently and escalate material risk to the Senior Legal Counsel.
Produce summaries of key terms in incoming contracts and flag points for the senior counsel's attention; liaise directly with account teams and counterparties on lower-risk matters under senior oversight.
Prepare fallback positions, track open points, and turn around revised drafts.
Conduct legal research on discrete, jurisdiction-specific questions to support the senior counsel's advisory and negotiation work.
Maintain the legal template library and template architecture, ensuring correct version control and consistent use across markets.
Provide legal-administration support: organizing the legal document repository, tracking obligations and key dates from a legal standpoint.
Prepare internal guidance, FAQs, and template-use reminders for account and business teams, and coordinate with them on document status and turnaround.
Coordinate with and advise account and business teams on routine legal questions and support compliance matters, referring anything of substance to the Senior Legal Counsel.
Support compliance across the Group, including advertising, tax/invoicing, data privacy (PDPA and equivalent regulations), policy maintenance, and routine compliance inquiries.
Support corporate transactions and governance matters, including document organization, corporate records, and tracking of transaction-related action items.
Provide other legal and administrative support to the Senior Legal Counsel as business needs arise
