Legal (Investment Funds) - mid level (f/m)

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate client contracts and service provider agreements, handling matters with an increasing degree of autonomy.
  • Advise ONE entities on a broad range of legal and regulatory issues — working closely with the Senior Legal Counsel when needed — while delivering practical, business‑oriented guidance.
  • Interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, and internal ONE policies, ensuring consistent and compliant implementation across stakeholders.
  • Support internal initiatives, including projects related to governance, compliance, and data protection, contributing proactively to process improvements.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., fund operations, risk, oversight, onboarding, etc.) to ensure legal considerations are embedded in operational decisions.
  • Monitor regulatory developments relevant to investment funds and assist in updating internal documentation and processes accordingly.

Requirements

  • Admission to the Bar in Luxembourg or any European Union jurisdiction is essential.
  • LL.M. in Law (or equivalent postgraduate legal qualification).
  • Minimum five years of post‑qualification experience gained within a law firm, in‑house management company, or Big Four environment, with a strong focus on investment funds.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational capabilities, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset, with proven effectiveness working as part of cross‑functional teams.
  • High degree of autonomy, initiative, and sound judgment, combined with a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach and the ability to think creatively when addressing complex issues.
