Legal Operations Specialist

Wellthy is seeking a Legal Operations Assistant to administer and support the evolution of our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution, Ironclad, own first-pass review of high-frequency contracts, and help shape the evolution of Wellthy’s legal operations as the company continues to grow. You will report directly to the General Counsel.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Mature Wellthy’s Ironclad CLM by building out playbooks, refining and expanding high-frequency workflows, leveraging AI functionality, and developing and maintaining templates
  • Build reporting and visibility by developing dashboards and reporting in Ironclad to surface contract volume, lifecycle timeframes, and bottlenecks for the General Counsel and cross-functional partners
  • Own first-pass contract review for high-frequency agreements (e.g., NDAs, vendor agreements, client renewals), handling delegated matters end-to-end against established playbooks and escalating substantive issues to the General Counsel
  • Manage the contracting intake and triage process, becoming the front door for Legal requests, routing work appropriately, and partnering with business stakeholders to optimize the contract lifecycle
  • Identify and drive process improvements by spotting inefficiencies in legal workflows and proposing creative and effective solutions such as automation, template creation, and self-serve resources for the business
  • Support broader legal operations as the Legal function matures, contributing to vendor management, policy development, and other initiatives as the department grows

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Have 2-4 years of experience in legal operations, contracts, paralegal, or a CLM-adjacent role
  • Have experience working with and customizing modern CLM solutions, preferably Ironclad
  • Hold Ironclad certification (preferred)
  • Have experience reviewing standard commercial contracts and identifying when something falls outside standard terms
  • Have a genuine interest in emerging technology
  • Are a strong independent operator who also collaborates well cross-functionally
  • Are detail-oriented, organized, and great at time and task management
  • Are excited about working for a mission-driven organization
