We are Focus Law Asia LLC, a boutique disputes law firm based in Singapore. We are looking to hire a secretary to join our Japanese desk.

Job Description:

  • Administrative support to lawyers: managing schedules, calendar, calls, travel bookings, appointment reservations and recurring commitments.
  • Manage file opening and closing procedures, including conflict checks.
  • Prepare invoices / bills, staff claims.
  • Send chaser and follow up with clients on outstanding invoices / bills.
  • Conduct searches (e.g. Cause Book, ACRA, INLIS etc).
  • Document management: organisation of documents, emails, and correspondence.
  • Other office support activities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE “O” Level qualifications.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of Japanese would be an advantage (as the successful candidate will handle matters with Japanese clients).
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook) and competent working with PDFs.
  • Ready to work in a paperless office and with cloud applications.
  • Team player, meticulous, efficient and organised.
  • Working hours: 9am to 6pm. Mondays to Fridays.
