Level 1 Help Desk Engineer
NewSalary: £25,000 - 28,000 per year
Requirements:- Minimum 2 years experience in an IT support or help desk role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Windows 11.
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365.
- Good understanding of basic networking concepts.
- Good understanding of hardware installation and support.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Comfortable travelling to client sites when required.
- Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is desirable.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration is desirable.
- Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are desirable.
- Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and remote support tools.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
- Install and configure laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, and other hardware.
- Carry out onsite support visits to client locations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates.
- Deliver excellent customer service and keep clients informed throughout the support process.
