Summary
Level 2 IT support tech / systems & network administrator at a managed IT services provider in Southport (Gold Coast), delivering remote and onsite support across customer environments. Daily work spans Microsoft 365 admin (Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Defender), Windows/macOS endpoints, network troubleshooting, backups, and VoIP support.
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year
About the role
You'll work across a broad range of customer environments, providing remote and onsite support while helping manage their day-to-day IT systems. The position is based in Southport CBD, with periodic travel to our Brisbane office and customer sites across South East Queensland.
Key responsibilities
Level 1 and Level 2 remote and onsite support
Microsoft 365 administration, including Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Intune and Defender
Windows and macOS workstation and server environments
User onboarding, offboarding, accounts and permissions
Network troubleshooting across routers, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, VLANs, DNS and DHCP
Managing customer devices and assets through RMM platform
Endpoint security, cybersecurity monitoring and remediation
Backup monitoring, troubleshooting and management
Microsoft 365, workstation, network and hardware deployments
Hosted VoIP phone system and handset support
About you
Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration
Experience with Windows and macOS environments
Windows Server experience
Microsoft Intune, Defender, Entra ID, Exchange and SharePoint experience
Networking and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
Endpoint security and backup solutions experience
RMM and remote support tools experience
Hardware and software troubleshooting
Basic VoIP and business telephony knowledge
Current Australian Driver's Licence
