About the Role
Advance Onsite Protection Security (AOP Security) is currently hiring Level 2 Patrol Officers to join our team. Patrol Officers are responsible for protecting client properties, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and maintaining a professional security presence at multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols of assigned properties
- Monitor properties for suspicious activity, trespassing, theft, vandalism, and other security concerns
- Respond to calls and incidents as directed by Dispatch
- Thoroughly inspect doors, windows, gates, parking areas, and other designated areas
- Enforce client property rules and regulations professionally
- Address and remove unauthorized or trespassing individuals when appropriate
- Identify and report safety or facility concerns, including fire hazards, water leaks, damaged property, or unsecured areas
- Contact or request emergency personnel when necessary
- Complete accurate and detailed incident and patrol reports using company software
- Maintain communication with Dispatch throughout the shift
- Follow all AOP Security policies, procedures, and post orders
Qualifications
- Must have a current New Mexico Level 2 Security Guard Card
- Valid driver's license required
- Must have a good driving record to be approved for a Patrol Officer position
- Must be able to safely operate a company patrol vehicle
- Previous security, patrol, law enforcement, or related experience is a plus
- Must be able to work graveyard, swing, night, weekday, and/or weekend shifts as needed

- Ability to use a cell phone and company software to complete reports

- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with Dispatch
