Centerline is seeking highly skilled Data Center DC Power Technicians (Level III and Level IV) to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and modification of mission-critical power infrastructure in hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center environments throughout the United States.

This role is responsible for performing complex DC power installations, live power work, equipment turn-up, battery systems integration, and power system modifications while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. Technicians in this role serve as technical leaders on-site and are trusted to execute work in active facilities where uptime and reliability are paramount.

This position offers the opportunity to work on some of the nation's most advanced data center and telecommunications infrastructure projects.

Travel up to 75% or more is required.

What you will do:

  • Install, test, commission, and turn up DC power systems supporting mission-critical facilities.
  • Perform equipment installation
  • Execute power transition and migration activities with minimal impact to customer operations.
  • Perform system acceptance testing and equipment turn-up activities.
  • Perform additions, removals, and modifications on energized DC power systems.
  • Install, modify, and remove circuits on active power distribution equipment.
  • Add and remove battery strings and associated power infrastructure.
  • Execute circuit modifications and software upgrades within operational environments.
  • Support maintenance windows, cutovers, and critical infrastructure upgrades.
  • Produce and maintain accurate installation documentation.
  • Follow all customer, company, and site-specific safety procedures

What you will need:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience installing and commissioning DC power systems in telecommunications, central office, or data center environments.
  • Proven experience performing live power work, circuit modifications, battery additions/removals, and power transitions.
  • Ability to serve as Installation Supervisor and lead crews on complex projects.
  • Experience overseeing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work activities simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of mission-critical operations and change management procedures.
  • Manufacturer certifications on DC power systems and equipment being installed.
  • Current training certifications from major power equipment manufacturers.
  • Completion of a recognized telecommunications, electrical, or power systems training program.
  • Experience supporting hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, or carrier data centers.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to critical power infrastructure.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience with Visio and electronic documentation platforms.
