At Atterbury Job Corps, our Licensed Addictions Counselor leads the Center's alcohol, drug, and tobacco prevention program — educating, counseling, and supporting students so they can stay enrolled and reach their full potential.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and facilitate the Center's alcohol, drug, and tobacco prevention program, integrating services into the Center's broader programmatic functions
• Educate and counsel students to reduce and prevent drug-related separations from the program
• Administer the Center's drug testing program to help maintain a drug-free environment
• Develop and coordinate community resources for educating students on substance use and abuse
• Provide comprehensive, individualized case management to support student progress, retention, and program completion
• Establish supportive, mentoring relationships with students throughout their enrollment
• Counsel students individually and in group settings on substance abuse
• Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with all HIPAA laws

WHAT YOU BRING

• Active, unrestricted substance abuse license or certification meeting minimum state requirements for the state where the Center is located (required)
• Degree from an accredited school (preferred)
• Minimum of one year of experience in drug/alcohol counseling or a related field (preferred)
