LICENSED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH THERAPIST

The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist is the lead of the Behavioral Health Integration team, an assimilated and integral part of the primary care team serving each patients’ whole person treatment plan needs. The Behavioral Health Therapist provides talk therapy, diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical impressions and safety evaluations, brief intervention and psychoeducation to primary care patients. In an effort to improve patient health literacy, enhance and improve treatment outcomes and to address mild and moderate behavioral health disorders the LBHT consults with medical providers, substance use disorder counselors, and the psychiatry team as part of the multidisciplinary approach to care.
