In this role, you'll provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and supervision to a team of behavioral health professionals while helping ensure exceptional care for individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities:

Lead outpatient substance use disorder services and promote a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and person-centered care

Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, coaching, and professional development to therapists, counselors, and other behavioral health team members

Facilitate clinical staffing meetings, treatment reviews, case consultations, and diagnostic disposition discussions to support quality care and positive client outcomes

Monitor clinical documentation, service delivery, and compliance with agency, state, and accreditation standards

Conduct monthly and quarterly record reviews to ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance

Support team members in the implementation of evidence-based treatment approaches and best practices in substance use disorder care

Develop program schedules, workflows, and service delivery strategies that respond to the changing needs of the client population

Collaborate with healthcare providers, referral sources, community partners, and external agencies to ensure coordinated care and successful treatment outcomes

Respond to complex clinical situations and crisis events while providing guidance and support to staff

Oversee staff onboarding, orientation, training, and continuing education initiatives to foster professional growth and retention

Evaluate program performance and implement quality improvement initiatives that enhance client outcomes, staff effectiveness, and service excellence

Represent the organization professionally within the community while developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field

• Active Missouri licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMSW, PLPC, or Psychologist

• Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment services

• Experience leading, mentoring, supervising, or supporting clinical staff preferred

• Strong knowledge of substance use disorder treatment, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidence-based practices

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, quality improvement processes, and clinical documentation expectations

• Demonstrated ability to support staff development, performance improvement, and clinical excellence

Additional Qualifications:

• Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) certification through the Missouri Credentialing Board or applicable state board preferred

• Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required

• Successful completion of background screening

• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain as required

• Behavioral Management training or ability to obtain as required

• Ability to maintain all required professional licenses and certifications

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to build collaborative relationships with team members, community partners, referral sources, and stakeholders

• Commitment to recovery-oriented care, staff development, clinical excellence, and continuous quality improvement

• Ability to inspire, motivate, and support teams while fostering a positive and engaging work environment
