About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and certified Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) to manage electrical licensing submissions, site inspections, safety endorsements, and system energization for our commercial, industrial, residential, solar PV projects in Singapore.

In this role, you will be our technical authority on site, ensuring all low voltage installations strictly comply with Energy Market Authority (EMA) standards, SP Group regulations, and relevant local safety codes.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and endorse Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for solar PV integration

- Regulatory Submissions & Endorsements: Prepare, review, and endorse Single-Line Drawings (SLDs) and official application forms for SP Group / EMA approvals.

- Turn-On & Energization: Handle liaison with authorities and SP Group for system turn-on, meter installation, and energization.

- Testing & Commissioning: Conduct and witness pre-commissioning testing, primary/secondary injection tests, and insulation resistance tests.

- Routine Inspections & License Renewals: Perform mandatory periodic electrical inspections and assist building managers/clients with the annual renewal of EMA Electrical Installation Licenses.

- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all site electrical work complies with SS 638 (formerly CP5), the Electricity Act, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with project managers, main contractors, and client representatives to resolve technical anomalies on site.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Mandatory Certification: Must hold a valid Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) license issued by the Energy Market Authority (EMA) of Singapore.

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent recognized technical qualifications).

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, testing, maintenance, or project management in Singapore.

• Technical Proficiency: Deep familiarity with SS 638 / CP 5 standards, EMA regulatory frameworks, and single-line diagram endorsement procedures.

• Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and the ability to work independently on site.
