Licensed Massage Therapist

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with members and guests.

• Perform professional massage treatments tailored to the individual needs and wellness goals of each client.

• Conduct client consultations and health assessments prior to treatment.

• Deliver massage services safely, effectively, and within the scope of Maryland licensure requirements.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client treatment records.

• Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment rooms.

• Educate clients on wellness, recovery, and self-care practices that support overall health and fitness goals.

• Promote Fitness & Wellness services and contribute to member engagement initiatives.

• Adhere to all Club policies, sanitation standards, and professional ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with Fitness & Wellness staff to support a comprehensive approach to member health and wellness.

• Maintain professional liability insurance and all required certifications and licenses.

Qualifications

• Current Massage Therapy License in the State of Maryland.

• Current Professional Liability Insurance required.

• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred.

• Previous experience in a fitness, wellness, spa, resort, or private club environment preferred.

• Experience and proficiency in the following massage modalities preferred:

• Swedish Massage

• Deep Tissue Massage

• Hot Stone Massage

• Prenatal Massage

• Aromatherapy

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

• Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a member-focused approach at all times.
