Build your massage practice with Solterra.
Solterra Wellness Club is hiring Ohio-licensed massage therapists for full-time and part-time W-2 opportunities at The Galaxy at Polaris in Columbus. We will discuss a consistent schedule that fits your availability and Solterra's staffing needs. Part-time schedules can begin with two or three agreed weekly shifts, allowing you to retain other work.
We provide equipped treatment rooms, products, linens, laundry, front-desk support, booking, payments, marketing, and member referrals. You do not need an existing clientele and will not pay room rent.
PAY AND OPENING-PERIOD PROTECTION
- Earn 40% of eligible collected massage-service revenue you personally perform, plus 100% of guest gratuities.
- For your first 60 calendar days, beginning with your first scheduled guest-service shift, service pay is the higher of $25 per approved scheduled service hour or earned service commission for the applicable pay period. The guarantee includes unbooked time during an approved shift; the two pay calculations are not stacked.
- Approved training, meetings, administrative responsibilities, and assigned pre-opening or other non-service work are paid separately at $25/hour.
- After the introductory period, the regular 40% service-commission structure continues, with approved non-service work paid at $25/hour.
- The planned menu and appointment blocks produce an estimated $44–$51 per booked service hour before tips. These are estimates, not guaranteed hourly earnings or an earnings cap. Booking volume, tips, and minimum weekly hours are not guaranteed.
YOUR WORK
Deliver thoughtful consultations and customized massage within your Ohio scope. Maintain appropriate draping, professional boundaries, SOAP documentation, sanitation, and a guest-ready treatment room. Additional modalities and luxury-spa experience are welcome but are not required. Paid training covers Solterra protocols, hospitality standards, and applicable VOYA professional treatments.
WHAT YOU NEED
- An active Ohio Massage Therapy license in good standing.
- CPR/AED certification, or the ability to obtain it before your employment start date.
- Strong massage fundamentals, knowledge of anatomy and contraindications, reliable availability, and attentive guest care.
- Ability to perform essential massage and treatment-room duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
SCHEDULE AND START
We will agree your shifts, paid training, and start date individually. Evening and weekend availability is especially helpful. Regular guest services begin with the club's service launch, subject to site readiness, occupancy approval, and required inspections.
APPLY
Use the short application here, or email your name, phone number, Ohio license status, and availability to info@solterrawellnessclub.com. A resume is welcome but optional at initial application. No cover letter is needed. Experienced therapists and newer licensed therapists are encouraged to apply.
