Licensed Mental Health Counselor (1099 Contract Worker)

The Children's Home of Pittsburgh is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a 1099 contracted position. We are currently looking for a dynamic therapist, with one of the following specialty areas: children & teens, perinatal mental health, or couples counseling. The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be able to work as part of a counseling team if desired and be supported through regular counseling treatment team meetings or supervision. This position serves both in person and telehealth clients. Hours are flexible, though later afternoon, evening and/or weekend availability preferred.

• Experience providing services in the specialty area of children & teens, perinatal mental health, or couples counseling.
• Must have LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent but open to an LSW or LAPC who is within one year of obtaining full clinical licensure. Supervision towards licensure can be provided.
• Must practice from a trauma informed lens.
• Preference for late afternoon, evening and/or Saturday availability.
