Licensed Practical Nurse - Elizabethtown Community Health Center
Job Description:
The Licensed Practical Nurse assists with assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care. The LPN performs therapeutic nursing measures with accuracy, safety and efficiency consistent with current nursing standards.
Education / Skill Required:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current NYS License.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
- Previous experience as Licensed Practical Nurse preferred, with the ability to satisfactorily complete training program.
- Possess a high level of interpersonal skills to interact with patients, patient’s families, staff and management.
- Highly motivated, able to work outside the normal working hours as volume demands.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
