Licensed Professional Counselor
- Evaluates individuals and family's needs after receiving diagnosis and create a custom treatment plan and provide individual, couples and family therapy to improve mental health and coping skills.
- Facilitates and leads various therapeutic and support groups for patients and caregivers to develop appropriate coping mechanisms.
- Develops innovative support and community engaging programs for caregivers and patients to promote mental health and encourage involvement in programs.
- Coordinates with other Providers, agencies and community resources to provide comprehensive care.
- Connects families and caregivers to institute and community resources needed to improve quality of life.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with a patients.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
EDUCATION:
Master's degree in Psychology or related degree is required.
EXPEREINCE:
Two (2) years of Counseling, Social Work or related experience is required.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is required
