Job Summary

Transcend ED, a leading behavioral health provider specializing in eating disorder treatment, is seeking a licensed therapist to join our team on a contract basis, working 15-20 hours per week. In this role, the clinician will provide individual therapy supporting clients in their recovery journey from eating disorders. This role might look like 3 or 4 days a week at our Residential Treatment Centers in Monroe. This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement a private practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual psychotherapy to clients in Residential levels of care.
  • Serve as a Primary Therapist, responsible for treatment planning, documentation, and family communication.
  • Coordinate weekly with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Complete all clinical documentation in a timely and compliant manner.

Requirements

  • Valid LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or licensed Psy.D. / Ph.D.
  • Experience treating eating disorders is preferred.
  • Strong communication and case management skills were required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • Must be available for consistent weekly scheduling and participation on the treatment team.

Position Details

  • Status: Independent Contractor- 1099
  • Schedule: 15-20 hours per week (flexible)
  • Compensation: $45–$75 per hour, BOE

Experience:


  • Post-Master's Mental Health : 2 years (Required)


License/Certification:

  • North Carolina
  • Valid LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or licensed Psy.D. / Ph.D.
  • A Level May Apply
